Samsung S7/S7 Edge was first launched in 2016 with Android 6.0 with Touchwiz. Touchwiz being Samsung’s own customized OS. Currently, it comes with Android 7.0 with Samsung Experience. Android 7.0 was released on Samsung S7/S7 Edge in January 2017. Samsung Experience is Samsung’s own customization to the Android 7.0 version. Lineage OS 14.1 has already been successfully installed on Samsung S7/S7 Edge. The Official LineageOS 15.0 will be better than the LineageOS 14.1 contributing to this factor is better notifications management, multi-window functionality, better security and so on that will be incorporated in Android 8.0.

How to Install LineageOS 15 On Galaxy S7/S7 Edge | Android 8.0 Oreo
Make sure your device is rooted and have the latest TWRP recovery installed. (Check the Pre-Requirement Section Above) First, download the files from the above link. Now transfer the downloaded files to the internal storage of your device. Now reboot to the TWRP recovery by holding your power and volume down buttons together for a few seconds. Take a backup by selecting the option from the home screen and then your data and cache from the recovery menu.
Once the flashing process is completed, reboot your phone and you will be booted into Android Oreo 8.0.
LineageOS would be available after the Android Open Source version is released. Which means you should be able to get Lineage OS 15 which is also an open source software by late 2017 or early 2018.
