Last month, the Galaxy S10 series received the June 2022 security update. But, it was limited to the international models. And, it took a month for the update to reach the US. The June 2022 security update for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, and Galaxy S10+ is rolling out in the US with the firmware version G97xUSQU6IVE7. It fixes dozens of vulnerabilities of different severity levels to improve data security and user privacy. The update might also improve device stability.  While the Galaxy S10 is getting the June security update in the US, the Galaxy S10 Lite has already started getting the latest July 2022 security patch. For now, it is rolling out in Spain. In the coming days, it will be rolled out to more European countries. The latest OTA update mainly brings the July 2022 security patch.

If you are a Galaxy S10, S10e, S10+, and S10 Lite user in the above-specified region, the new OTA update will reach your phone soon. Alternatively, you can go to Settings > Software update and tap on Download and install to update your phone. Samsung released the Galaxy S10, S10e, and S10+ in early 2019 with Android 9 Pie out of the box. A year after, the Galaxy S10 Lite came with an updated version of the OS – Android 10. All the devices have been upgraded to Android 12. It means that the Galaxy S10, S10e, and S10+ have already received 3 major OS updates and are not eligible for Android 13.
