The Google Fit offers fitness tracking for the users who are fitness-centric and maintain running, walking, or calorie burns every day. It’s available for Android OS, Wear OS, iOS as well. Google’s API manages to keep tracking the data from all other apps and devices to show fitness activity.

Google Fit gets dark mode

The new stable Google Fit app with version 2.16 gets the toggle option to select between a manual light or dark theme. Additionally, it has an option to synchronize the whole system data in Android Q Beta which is a good move from Google. While the Android Pie users can also set the theme to turn on Battery Saver mode automatically. It’s worth mentioning that turning on the battery saver mode will enable dark mode. However, the new theme on Google Fit is having a grey background instead of full black. Though the dark mode experience won’t be affected by this. Even if you’re using an IPS display, you can’t find any major differences.

Steps to Enable Dark Mode in Google Fit

You will need to install the latest version of the Google Fit app from Google Play Store. We have provided the link below. Additionally, we have also shared the APKMirror external download link of v2.16.
