One UI 5.0 Beta 2 could be arriving soon

According to the latest leaked information, the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta 2 is set to arrive soon and it’ll feature changes in icons. It looks like Samsung will also be bringing in a new design to native app icons to make the One UI 5.0’s appearance more revamped than the One UI 4.1. Aside from that, the tipster also shared a screenshot that showed the Gallery app icon, which has got an upgraded design compared to the One UI 4.1. Although the number of leaves in the Samsung Gallery is still the same (6), they’re now thinner in dimensions compared to the One UI 4.1.

After the first screenshot, the tipster also shared a second screenshot of the One UI 5.0 Beta 2’s upcoming feature. According to the info, One UI 5.0 Beta 2 will be revamping icons of Samsung Phone, Gallery, Messages, Contacts, and more.

On August 15th, Google released the Android 13 source code for AOSP and it has now become available for Pixel users widely. As the base Android 13 OS gained stability, Samsung is looking to bring in a more stable system and UI experience with the new One UI 5.0 Beta build. Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus users have started testing the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta update in three countries including the US, South Korea, and Germany.
